DOE Human Subjects Resources

Dr. Susan Rose Honored for her Accomplishments at DOE
On behalf of the DOE Human Subjects Program Office and the Human Subjects Working Group (HSWG), Dr. Susan Rose, former, DOE Office of Science, Human Subjects Program Manager, was honored at the May 7, 2008 HSWG Meeting. Susan gave over 25 years of service to improving the DOE human subjects program. During this time she formed the Human Subjects Working Group.

The HSWG has become a valuable resource, not only to the DOE Office of Science, but to its members who represent all the DOE Laboratories.

Susan has been missed, but her legacy continues with the HSWG addressing issues, policies, regulations that impact human subjects, not only within DOE, but for the human subjects community.

In recognition of her achievements and support of the Human Subjects Program, a engraved crystal bowl was presented to Dr. Susan Rose by Sherry Davis, Manager, PNNL, Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) and Institutional Review Board (IRB).
